After more than 30 years in the broadcast industry, Steve traded microphones for matches and scripts for cigars. Along the way, he owned and operated two mobile cigar companies in both Florida and North Carolina—bringing premium cigars directly to events, lounges, and cigar lovers who wanted something more personal than a humidor shelf.

A few years ago, Steve discovered the world of craft and boutique cigars—small-batch blends made with passion, creativity, and heart. That discovery changed everything.

What began as a mission to represent boutique brands as a cigar broker quickly grew into something bigger: The Crafted Stick—a platform dedicated to educating, exploring, and celebrating the artisans behind today’s most exciting cigars.

Steve’s life’s work is simple: introduce boutique cigars to anyone willing to listen (and smoke). Through stories, reviews, and education, The Crafted Stick exists to help cigar smokers discover blends they won’t find in big-box humidors and to give small brands the spotlight they deserve.
